Memorial Day 2008

Our annual Memorial Day Celebration, hosted by the

Friends of Mountain View Cemetery, was held Monday, May 26, 2008. 

                                                                                                               

 

Wreaths were placed at the base of the flag in honor of service organizations.

                                                                       Other activities included:

• Flags placed on all veteran graves by Boy Scout Troop
• Flyover by the Oregon National Guard
• Speeches by local officials
• Playing of taps
• Presenting of the colors
• Music by a local school band
• Coffee and doughnuts
